At The Grange Institution (TGI), we believe that preparing students for the future requires more than academic success. It calls for opportunities to think critically, collaborate across perspectives, solve real-world problems and develop a strong sense of purpose.
This commitment to future-ready education was recently showcased when we welcomed a delegation from South Korea as part of the Global Insight Expedition, organised by Kookmin University, one of Seoul’s leading universities.

Learning about Future-Ready Education at an International School in Singapore
The delegation comprised business and community leaders from diverse sectors, including education, banking, accounting, engineering, e-commerce and school operations. Their visit reflected a shared interest in understanding how an international school in Singapore can prepare students for the opportunities and challenges of the future.
The group visited TGI because of our commitment to innovative, student-centred learning and our spotlight by UNESCO for Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. They were interested in how real-world learning experiences help students develop critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and global awareness.

The Value of Global Perspectives in Education
During the visit, delegates gained insights into TGI’s learner-centred approach, values-driven culture and commitment to developing globally minded citizens.
Discussions explored how schools can empower students to become active contributors to their communities while developing the adaptability and resilience needed to navigate a rapidly changing world. The exchange highlighted the important role education plays in preparing young people not only for future careers, but also for meaningful participation in society.

For schools and educators, opportunities to engage with international visitors bring valuable global perspectives into the learning environment. These exchanges reinforce the importance of cultural understanding and demonstrate how education connects with innovation, sustainability, business and community development.

Strengthening International Connections Through Education
We thank the delegation from Global Insight Expedition for their visit and thoughtful engagement with our school community. Their perspectives contributed to a meaningful exchange of ideas and shared learning.
At TGI, we value opportunities to connect with the wider world and learn from diverse perspectives. Through international partnerships and global learning experiences, we continue to nurture confident, compassionate and globally minded learners who are prepared to make a positive difference in their communities and beyond.
