Class Teacher

Description: We are looking for an experienced home base teacher as part of the expansion of the school. The teacher would be the main teacher of the class delivering the Cambridge International English, Mathematics and Science, as well as the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) Units of Learning. In addition, the teacher would be supporting the students’ literacy development in ICT and Library. This position is for someone who enjoys working closely with others in a small school environment and who celebrates collaboration with others in the planning, teaching and learning and assessment processes. As a member of a small community school, the teacher is expected to actively contribute to improvements and growth of the school and its programmes.

Commencement: Jan 2020

Tenure: Full-time teaching on a 2-year Foreign or Local Teacher Contract.


  • Qualified and certified primary/elementary teacher
  • Native English speaker
  • Experience in an international school
  • Experience with dealing with ESL/EAL learners in the mainstream classroom
  • Experience in teaching an inquiry-based curriculum such as the IPC or the IBPYP
  • Enjoys collaborating with other for planning of units of learning
  • Strong believer of rigorous learning through differentiating content, product, process and the learning environment to meet students’ needs
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft or Apple-based softwares
  • Experience in organising and conducting out-of-school trips and after-school activities
  • Please note: Candidate who has ESL/EAL certification or experience, who is able to teach Visual Arts or Coding, or who is keen

Visual Arts Teacher

Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic Visual Art teacher who believes that a well-rounded art programme for children should not only focus on imparting artistic skills to children, but also make them become aware of the evidence and contribution of visual arts in their daily lives and environment. The teacher should inspire children to want to create using different media and forms. The teacher would be guided by the IPC Units of Learning to strengthen our Creators-in-Action© initiative where the children are empowered to express their originality and creativity in delivering their personal voice and message to the world.

Commencement: January 2020

Tenure: Permanent Part-time teaching on a weekly basis. Hours to be confirmed. Contract will be signed on a 1-year or 2-year basis.


  • Experience in working with elementary age children
  • Knowledge of working with different media, including textile, installations, photography and digital
  • Ability to co-create a curriculum that focuses on Art Skills, Art Appreciation and Artistic Creation
